Description

An excellent piece of early walnut furniture with book matched veneers, herringbone inlays, cross grained mouldings and excellent colour and patination. The bureau has an attractive stepped and curved interior with well and has original bracket feet and original handles with engraved back plates.

Provenance

From a Georgian house in the Midlands.

Current Condition

Excellent condition. Some veneer and moulding repairs consistent with a walnut piece of this age.
