Baxter Morgan was the son of the still life and historical painter Alfred Morgan who exhibited his work from 1880 – 1917. Baxter became a painter and received early instruction from his father. He exhibited at Walker Art Gallery, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Liverpool Society. Baxter developed a style that was influenced by the likes of Edward Scott and the Sussex School of Rural Landscape Painters.
He lived in London and is recorded as living at 30 Palewell Park, East Sheen London, which was his father’s address too.
