Victorian Arts & Crafts Walnut Double Hall / Wardrobe ca 1890
This beautiful antique Victorian Arts & Crafts walnut double hall / wardrobe has a moulded cornice and deep frieze above two full length doors with beautiful carved bird, circular panels, original brass handles, key and working lock. The interior has a pull out hanging rail, brass hooks, one fixed shelf above three oak lined sliding linen trays, one smaller over one longer deep, oak lined drawer all with brass swan neck handles. The piece stands on a moulded plinth, has original backboards, is a rich medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
