Large Victorian Walnut Coat / Hall Stand ca 1890
This large antique Victorian walnut coat / hall stand is in the style and quality of ‘Lambs, Manchester’. The piece has a swan neck pediment above a moulded cornice, a central mirror with reeded moulding, two beautiful carved plaques and a central marble top above a drawer with original brass handle. The lower section has two umbrella stands with trays and the piece has its original brass hanging hooks, beautiful turned upright supports, is a rich, warm, medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
