Regency Mahogany Display Cabinet on Stand ca 1830
This beautiful antique Regency mahogany display cabinet on stand has a moulded top above a reeded frieze with beautiful turned motifs. The piece has a glazed cupboard door with a key and working lock, the interior has two adjustable shelves with reeded edges, stands on four tapering legs with spade feet and again beautifully turned motifs. The piece has a cross stretcher for added stability, possibly later alterations, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
