Victorian Mahogany Small Glazed Bookcase ca 1890
This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany small glazed Bookcase has a rectangular top above a moulded edge, two full length glazed doors with key and working lock, the interior has three adjustable shelves. The piece stands on a plain plinth, has been altered from a larger bookcase and is now a smaller more useable size. The piece is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
