Large Victorian Flamed Mahogany Chest of Drawers ca 1850
This beautiful large antique Victorian flamed mahogany chest of drawers has a rectangular top with rounded corners above two over four cedar lined, cock beaded drawers with turned knobs. The corners are rounded with a moulded edge and the piece stands on four chunky turned bun feet. The top has two old veneer repairs, the piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
