Description

16th century brass 'Alms-dish' made in Nuremberg. It depicts the biblical story, Joshua and Caleb, the two spies leaving Canaan carring a large bunch of grapes. We also have another early Nuremberg alms dish with the 'jelly-mould' centre, see second photo.


Current Condition

Some wear but generally good state
