Description
A late 19th century Victorian oak stick barometer and thermometer.
The oak case has a carved decoration with a circular carved boss over the mercury cistern. The dial has the name "J. Brown 76 St Vincent St Glasgow" and has two scale adjustments to show the rising or lowering of the barometric pressure, these are adjusted with a wooden knob.
The barometer is in excellent working condition. (Circa 1880)
