Tall Victorian Shoolbred walnut gentlemen's chest
This quality tall Victorian Shoolbred walnut arts and crafts gentlemen's chest / chest of drawers circa 1890 has the original makers label Shoolbred and co Tottenham Court Road road London. The antique chest has a central mirrored cupboard flanked by open shelves with shaped brackets. The lower section has a rectangular top above three small drawers, two cupboards and two over three longer oak lined drawers all with the original brass handles. The antique chest stands on shaped bracket feet and is constructed from the finest quality walnut, is a rich, warm, light walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
