Small Victorian Oak Open Antique Bookcase.
This small Victorian oak open bookcase, circa 1890, has the proportions for practicality for todays’ home, not always the case with Victorian furniture! It has a rectangular beautifully figured top above a deep moulded frieze and has three adjustable shelves. It stands on a plain plinth and is a warm, light to medium oak with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
