Description

Godchaux was a French sculptor and painter. He began his career as a student of Gerome and Adler in Paris. From 1905 he exhibited at the Paris Salon and won many medals for his work, including a Gold in 1928.

Godchaux also specialised in Animalier sculpture, as well as painting extremely fine flower compositions, demonstrating a keen sense of form and expression.
