An early 19th century Regency mahogany breakfront bookcase.
The bookcase top has four glazed doors with glazing bars and five adjustable shelves in each section. The glazing is all original and is in wonderful condition, the shelves are pine with a reeded mahogany facing edges.
The four door cupboard base has figured mahogany veneered panels in each door and inside there is a single adjustable shelf to the two door centre section and three adjustable shelves to each of the end cupboards
The bookcase has been sympathetically restored and has working locks and keys and is designed to dismantle into 8 pieces for transport. (Circa 1820)
