| Description | This was one of a series of 6 ceramics which Picasso had made at this time consisting of ash trays . The other five were named “Bird with worm (Ramie 172), Bird with tuft (Ramie 173), Bird under sun (Ramie174), Bird on a Branch (Ramie 175), Bull (Ramie 177). All the pieces were authorised reproductions : made by the workshop in Madoura under the direction of Picasso.
