Description

A lovely penny in the slot single singing bird in cage, the brass cage contains the bird with striking blue plumage and the slot for you to insert your 1p, allowing the bird to sing, this sits on a wooden base with gilt metal decoration and a drawer for collection of the coins, these singing birds were made for use in shops and therefore had a very hard life which makes surviving examples very rare.
