This quality art Deco pair of unusual painted antique elephant arm chairs circa 1930 are constructed from camphor wood and were made for an officers and gentlemen's club in Bombay, India. The antique chairs have scrolled backs and arms with brass fittings and are upholstered in a neutral grey fabric. The chairs are in a neutral early paint finish, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
