Description

Circa 1860, mid Victorian walnut writing box/slope. The walnut case with its raised top and well carved sides, opens to reveal a walnut crossbanded writing slope with original velvet lining. On the opposite side is a multiple of different size spaces for letters, inks and pens etc. The central tray has small lifting handles and can be removed, as can the pen slide. Original brass lock which has 2 crowns on it and a patent mark. Lovely quality. British.

Size 10cm high x 43cm wide x 35cm deep.
