Description

7" painted dial with strike silent lever behind the bezel above the
12 O'clock ,the engraved plate just visible.
Movement fitted with anchor escapement and chain driven fusees. Backplate signed with engraving to the borders.
High quality gothic case, a style greatly influenced by Horace Walpole and the architecture of his house Strawberry Hill, which was completed in the late 18th Century. The front of the case is detailed in gadrooning and
quatrefoil inlay. Lancet frets to the side and pull repeat facility.
