Description

Circa 1860, continental carved oak 2 door cabinet bookcase, the 2 glazed doors on the top are surrounded by a carved frame and 2 barley sugar columns with lion mask carvings on top and a very stylish carved cornice, below 2 drawers and 2 doors with geometric patterns and carved lion faces. The whole bookcase stands on an enclosed carved plinth base.

Size 234cm high x 131cm wide x 49.5cm deep.
