Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier Bookcase
This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany chiffonier bookcase ca 1840 has a raised back with beautifully scrolled carvings, shelf and elegant turned supports. The lower section has a rectangular top above a concealed frieze drawer and two glazed cupboard doors with key and working lock. The interior has two adapted, adjustable shelves and the piece stands on a plain plinth, is a rich warm medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
