Description

Perfect condition early Lesghi rug with an unusual soft palette of colours, the variation in soft blues and greys make a subtle rug with a striking star design. This Caucasian rug along with several others can be found illustrated in Raymond Benardout's 1996 'Woven Stars' publication. This particular Lesghi is on the front cover of 'Woven Stars' and many of the Caucasian rugs have been in a private collection for over 30 years.
