Description

A rare design early Kuba prayer rug woven with the date 1884. The tulip motif design in the main field is rather unusual and not seen very often with an ivory background. The condition is excellent, in good pile all over with some old restoration to one end. A rare caucasian rug that has been in a private collection for over 30 years.
