An Exceptional Marquetry and Lacquer Louis XVI Style Cabinet with Four Spectacular Coromandel Lacquer Panels.

Krieger was a very well respected Nineteenth Century Parisian furniture maker. Antoine Krieger established the flourishing business in Paris with his brother Nicolas from 1826, and became a major manufacturer during the second half of the Nineteenth Century. They exhibited various types of furniture in 1852 and 1855. Antoine Krieger was awarded a 'Medaille de 2ieme classe' at the London Exhibition of 1852.
