Description

The fall front with a replaced writing slope and original hinges opening to reveal a hidden interior revealing four small drawers with spring mechanisms missing. The side drawers with spring mechanisms, and pear-drop openings. The frieze with a replaced lock and escutcheon with spring mechanism revealing another hidden interior with two drawers and three secret drawers behind. The bottom edge faced with a simple moulding, with one side replaced. Excellent original colour and patina. English, mid-17th century.
