Description

THE THREE DOWNSWEPT MOULDED ARMS WITH CARVED BOSSES, LEFT TO RIGHT A BAT, A JESTER WITH ASSES EARS AND A BIRD WITH LOSSES. TERMINATIING IN GOTHIC TRACERY FEET.
PROVENANCE- MALMESBURY ABBEY, WILTSHIRE. THE CHOIR STALL WOULD HAVE BEEN PART OF A MUCH LONGER RUN OF STALLS,SEAT BOARDS AN EARLY REPLACEMENT.
