Description

A Georgian diamond set brooch in the form of a butterfly with open-work wings set with diamonds in cut-down silver collet settings. Total estimated diamond weight 7½ cts, overall measurements approximately 54 x 30 mm. Gross weight 11.8 grams, some lead solder apparent. Circa 1800.
